2010 marks my tenth year in the web design and management field and I take on a limited number of new website design projects each year. My web design prices are very reasonable and I have a great deal of experience building sites for photographers, nonprofit organizations, small businesses and e-commerce busiensses. My specialty has matured from building static html sites that require web skills to maintain to using Content Management Systems like the open-source Joomla platform which allow clients to maintain most aspects of a site themselves without special skills or training. I also develop high quality training tools to help clients manage their own systems once they are running. My philosophy is that I'd rather spend time on photography or building new sites for clients than taking care of the small updates and edits that traditional HTML designed sites require. Clients are empowered to take control of the small daily changes to their sites, be it photo gallery updates or adding new stock to their commerce system.
